How to travel to our gite in La Vancelle - Alsace Vosges?

Do you wish to get the most out of your holiday in Alsace?
Fly to Basel airport and rent a car. We give you some very interesting links to cheap but reliable flights as well as cheap but good car rental. Basel airport is only a 1 hour easy and comfortable drive to our gite apartment in La Vancelle.

Drive North on motorway A35, bypass Colmar and take exit number 17 (St Dié, Selestat). Continue on the direction St Dié (heading west to the Vosges mountains). 4 kilometers after crossing Chatenois (round about), take right. La Vancelle is sign posted.

Basel airport is only a 1 hour easy and comfortable drive to our gite holiday apartment in La Vancelle between Strasbourg and Colmar. Drive North on motorway A35, bypass Colmar and take exit number 17 (St Dié, Selestat). Continue on the direction St Dié (heading west to the Vosges mountains). Shortly (4 kilometers) after crossing Chatenois, take right. La Vancelle is sign posted.

Other flights to / from Strasbourg (35 minutes drive) and  Karlsruhe-Baden (75 minutes drive).

TRAIN - TGV

Selestat (the nearest train station) is accessible by train. TGV trains to Strasbourg (High Speed Trains) from Paris (Gare de l'Est), London, Brussels and Amsterdam, Zurich and Basel. Then TER train to Selestat + bus to our gite. But for more flexibility we advise to rent a car from Strasbourg or Colmar.

Our Check in procedure
Our gite holiday apartment is available earliest at 4:00 pm, latest 8:00 pm unless otherwise agreed.
